Anko Japanese Kitchen & Sushi opened at the Louisville StrEatery on Woodlawn Avenue in 2024. Chef and owner Anh Le spent a decade as a sushi chef at Hiko-A-Mon before opening the counter. Go for sushi made in a small, chef-led room.
Sapporo Japanese Grill & Sushi · Highlands
A Bardstown Road sushi and grill room going on more than twenty years. Nigiri and rolls come off the bar while the hibachi grill handles the other half of the dining room. It has been the Highlands sushi default for a reason.
