Wigle Whiskey, the distillery and bar on Smallman Street in the Strip District, turns part of its space into Wigle Wonderland each winter. The pop-up is built out like a small illuminated cabin strung with fairy lights, aiming for a cozy mountain-sanctuary feel that is very different from the working distillery around it. Order a whiskey-based cocktail from the dedicated Wonderland menu, browse the regular tasting room list alongside it, and expect the takeover to run on select dates from late November through late December.

Lorelei, the Alpine-inspired cocktail bar, beer hall and wine shop on South Highland Avenue in East Liberty, closes its regular list each winter and welcomes Krampus, the horned anti-Santa of Alpine folklore, for its holiday pop-up. Expect the room dressed for continental Europe's holiday traditions rather than a standard American Christmas, with a themed cocktail list built around that mischief. Order a seasonal cocktail from whichever Krampus-themed menu is running, and expect the regular wine and beer-hall list to stay available alongside it.
