Alex Herzog runs this cart as a one man show inside Austin Street Brewery, rolling to order while drinkers wait with a pale ale on the patio. A California Sushi Academy graduate who cooked at Yosaku, he works a loud American register: tempura crunchies, sliced jalapeno, squeeze bottles of sauce, Sushi Burgers and Poke Nachos. The Press Herald ordered the Vegetable Futomaki and a Spicy Tuna Rice Bowl piled with crab, avocado, cucumber and eel sauce. Expect a wait; there is no online ordering.

Masahiko Miyake opened this 44-seat family room on Hanover Street in December 2025, serving sushi and sashimi alongside Tohoku-region home cooking, filling part of the gap left when Bar Futo closed on Fore Street the previous month, a short walk from the old room.
