Orenda and Peter Hale run this Washington Avenue wine shop and bar, the companion to their restaurant Drifters Wife. The Press Herald reported their move next door into 59 Washington Ave, a room planned for 44 seats and a ten seat bar with dinner service five nights a week. Peter Hale told the paper his shelves lean hard enough on European growers that a tariff round could shut the shop, so ask what landed from Europe that week.
