(585) Magazine's Nicholas Abreu followed Shui from the old Kentucky Fried Chicken building on Main Street, with its ocean blue awning, into the Village Gate complex, and found the draw is now the cooking rather than the roadside landmark. Owner James Zou is Chinese and worked in Thai kitchens, so the menu splits between the two, with the Thai side running longer. Order the Panang curry for its thick peanut-forward balance of salty and sweet, or the crisp Song Zi Fish.
