Connect Savannah's Maria Whiteway reported this Historic District room opening in December 2017 as the downtown counterpart to the family's Pooler restaurant, with a menu the owner called simple yet trendy, no buffet, and a five stooled bar lit by blue neon. She describes an amalgamation of authentic northern and southern Indian dishes with a dash of Indo-Chinese recipes. Order naan and parathas from the northern side of the menu, or a biryani from the southern.

Connect Savannah's Tim Rutherford wrote about this Indian restaurant reopening on Abercorn Street in the former Daiquiri Island space after its Oglethorpe Mall room closed, a room he said he had always been pleased to dine at. He called the menu solid, authentic Indian food on his return visit. Order from the curry side of the card, and treat the Abercorn Street address as the current room rather than the mall location that closed.
