Kakki has served Japanese cooking from a Whitemarsh Island storefront for about sixteen years, a rare run of longevity for the category. Savannah Magazine's 2025 reader survey named it the city's Japanese pick. The kitchen draws a loyal regular crowd rather than a tourist one, tucked away from the Historic District circuit most visitors stick to.
