Tequila's Town runs a Whitaker Street dining room the Ortiz family built around the cooking of south and central Mexico. Connect Savannah's review found no mariachi soundtrack and no sombreros on the ceiling, just food genuine enough to need none of it: marinated fajitas the way they make them in Oaxaca, a seafood soup from Veracruz, and mole poblano of chicken bathed in a sauce of chocolate, chilis and sesame seeds. Order the mole poblano.
