Legacy Pie Co.- Tennyson St. · Berkeley
Legacy Pie Co. is the Denver offshoot of Colorado Cherry Company, which began as Great-Grandma Katherine's pie stand in 1929, and the fourth generation of the Lehnert family still makes pies from scratch daily from her recipes at this Berkeley shop. The range runs from tart cherry, apple caramel crisp and French silk to Key lime and savory pot pies, in 10-inch, mini, hand-pie and take-and-bake sizes. Order a slice of the tart cherry.
Granny Scott's Pie Shop · Lakewood
Granny Scott's Pie Shop bakes on South Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood, and its menu runs past 30 pies. The classics are all there, pumpkin, pecan, caramel apple, cherry and banana cream, beside more creative ones like Swiss chocolate mousse and grasshopper. Order the caramel apple, or the grasshopper for something different.
Anne's a la Mode and Pie Cafe · Wheat Ridge
Anne's sold sweet and savory pies out of a vintage Yellowstone camper from 2020 before opening this cozy west-side cafe on West 29th Avenue in Wheat Ridge in 2025. It bakes fruit and cream pies, in minis too, alongside chicken and green chile pot pies. Order a green chile pot pie and a mini cream pie.
Devil's Food Bakery · Washington Park
Devil's Food Bakery has long been a Wash Park favorite, especially at the holidays, and past the standard pumpkin, apple and pecan it bakes cranberry-sour cream, butterscotch custard and double-crust apple pies, with cookies, dinner rolls and other baked goods beside them. Order the butterscotch custard pie.
The Post Brewing Company Lafayette
Pie at The Post is a holiday-season offering, and while the season lasts this Lafayette branch of the fried chicken and beer house sells it to walk-in customers without a pre-order, as the other branches do. The holiday pies have included YaYa's Orchard apple, bourbon molasses toasted pecan and salted maple pumpkin. Order the bourbon molasses toasted pecan.
