Casa Larga Vineyards sits on Turk Hill Road in Fairport, a family-owned winery founded in 1974 and run by the same family for more than fifty years, as the Rochester Business Journal noted in a 2024 feature on family businesses. O-Neh-Da and Eagle Crest Vineyards sits in the state forest above Hemlock Lake in Conesus, south of the city, and 585 Magazine notes it has produced sacramental wines since 1872. Today the estate also makes about a dozen varieties for the public. It is one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in the United States.
