Zunzi's · Historic District
Zunzi's built its following on the Conquistador sandwich and a glass of rooibos, South African style sweet tea, ordered from a counter that used to draw a line around the block on York Street. The shop moved to Drayton Street after fifteen years at its original address. A separate concept called Zunzibar, focused on seafood and cocktails, now shares the same Drayton Street building and should not be confused with it.
Rocky's NY Deli & Italian Catering · Southside
Rocky's NY Deli & Italian Catering runs a New York style deli counter on the Southside, open mornings and afternoons Tuesday through Saturday. Savannah Magazine's 2025 reader survey placed it in the sandwiches category behind the now closed Finches Sandwiches & Sundries. The counter has held its Skidaway Road address across both the 2024 and 2025 surveys.
Pritchard & Co. · Historic District
Pritchard & Co. opened on West Broughton Street to fill what its owners called a gap in the Historic District for a true sandwich spot, open for breakfast and lunch. The kitchen carries over the Kitchen Sink Salad from the closed Starland Cafe and roasts its own coffee. Savannah Magazine covered the opening in its March 2026 dining feature, while the restaurant itself still described the run as a soft opening phase.
