Gerber's 1933 Tavern · Bagg's Square
Utica's oldest Prohibition-era bar, in a Bagg's Square building that dates to the 1840s. It closed in 1976 and sat empty for decades before reopening in 2013. WOUR calls it the city's oldest bar, and the Rome Sentinel lists it among Bagg's Square's anchors. It runs comfort food, drink specials, and live music and open-mic nights.
The Green Onion Pub · South Utica
