James Beard Award-winning chef-owner Kevin Nashan cooked in New York and New Orleans before building a menu that spans New England, the mid-Atlantic and Louisiana. Shellfish flies in daily, and Companion Baking makes the French-style buns to specification. Order oysters, then a Maine- or Connecticut-style lobster roll, or share a shrimp or lobster boil.

This longtime South Broadway room serves oysters with live music and Cajun cocktails. Blue Point and Rappahannock oysters come on the half shell with horseradish and house-made spicy gin cocktail sauce. Other versions include char-grilled oysters with garlic butter and Parmesan, Bienville and Rockefeller. The Oyster Medley brings three preparations together.

This Olive Boulevard dining room in Creve Coeur serves fresh fish, sides and lobster bisque. Its happy hour has offered two mini New England lobster rolls. There is a second Bristol in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Travis Howard and Tim Wiggins, also of Yellowbelly and Lazy Tiger, built an East Coast fish house on the ground floor of the 160-year-old Centennial Malt House. Order the lobster donut roll or lump crab creste di gallo pasta and explore the raw bar. Some tables are held for walk-ins.

This Lindell Boulevard room combines tropical drinks with Pacific seafood in a tiki-influenced fish house. Order cheddar biscuits, then a seafood dish with a drink from the bar. Yellowbelly preceded sibling restaurants Extra Wavy and Lazy Tiger.
