Brothers Houssem and Mohammed 'Ziggy' Rzig took over this Cordova Road cafe in 2006 and broadened it toward a wider Mediterranean menu with Moroccan and Tunisian dishes. The Santa Fe Reporter's 'Praise for the Pyramid' feature singled out the freshness of the salads and the piquancy of the lamb stew. Order the lamb stew and a spread of Mediterranean and Tunisian mezze. A long-running neighborhood room open since the mid-2000s.
Cleopatra Cafe · Cerrillos Rd
A Mediterranean cafe the Santa Fe Reporter has called the city's go-to for the cuisine, running two Santa Fe locations for more than fifteen years. A dedicated Reporter 'Faves' feature detailed the hummus, spanakopita, dolmas and falafel. Order the hummus, the spanakopita and a lamb gyro or falafel sandwich.
